Family Sharing

One subscription. The whole family.

A Quran lesson has always been a family matter: a parent beside a child, a grandparent listening at the table. With Apple's Family Sharing, one Sebak subscription opens the teacher for everyone in your iCloud family.

Three steps

Share it through iCloud

  1. Subscribe once. One person in the family subscribes in Sebak.
  2. Turn on sharing. On that iPhone, open Settings › your name › Family Sharing and turn on sharing for Subscriptions. Everyone in your iCloud family group is included, up to six people, you among them.
  3. Everyone opens Sebak. Each family member installs Sebak with their own Apple Account. The subscription is already open for them.

No codes, no invitations inside the App. Apple's Family Sharing does it all.

Free for everyone

  • The whole Quran in the Read tab
  • The translations of the meanings in 55 languages
  • Al-Husary's recitation

With the subscription

  • The listening teacher
  • The daily path of sebaks
  • Shared with your whole family

Questions

Family Sharing, answered

Does each person keep their own progress?

Yes. Seals, streak and notes live on each person's own phone. Nothing about one family member's recitation is shown to another.

Do children need their own Apple Account?

Yes. Everyone in an Apple family group has their own Apple Account. A parent can create one for a child in Settings › Family Sharing.

How many people can share one subscription?

Up to six people in one Apple family group, including the person who subscribed.

What happens if someone leaves the family group?

They keep everything that is free in Sebak and their progress on their phone. The listening teacher and the daily path close for them until they subscribe or join a family again.

Who manages or cancels the subscription?

The person who subscribed, in iOS Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.
